the snake is not easy to find, always in ambush... for catching a frog or what else ;-)
Purple Heron is not very usual, once, they have nested there... and now, no more :no:
maybe next year ..0..

You are very clever finding these little birds hidden in the weeds ^Q^ ^Q^

The sand martins' wall is a great find \O

No bee-eaters this year? :-(

so happy they return O/\
Yes there is still Bee-Eaters, but at another place (Penthaz VD)
the Martins are at "Les Clées - VD"
for that moment I am the only one at the Martins... until :-? because no fence... nothing, easy to go near and disturb :evil:

you have 3 sorts of these birds : Swift, Swallow and Martin, they are Sand MARTIN 0'
the beardling is really a pretty bird, but male still more... O**
