Field Guide to the Spiders of South Africa

Post by Dzombo »

Field Guide to the Spiders of South Africa - Ansie Dippenaar-Schoeman

I believe this book is now out of print, but is well worth tracking down 2nd hand
A comprehensive work on the Spiders of SA.
First chapter deals with general spider behaviour - breeding, webs, venom etc.
And then there is as genus by genus account of all known genera in SA, with many species photos, distribution maps etc.

You seem to be monitoring the backgrounds of all my book photos :O^

I do have another book on SA spiders, but it's in a lot less detail
