Mammals of the KNP - "Did You Know" Series

Post by Dzombo »

Mammals of the KNP (and surrounding bushveld) by Veronica Rood.
A title in the " Did You Know" nature series

I recently bought this short booklet (approx 90 pages)
Excellent info on mammals of the KNP covering the large herbivores, carnivores, as well as the smaller rodents, bats etc.
A page by page; species by species account, giving general info on the animal, as well as a photo of the skull, droppings, spoor

My only negative comment is there is a small distribution map of where each species is found in Southern Africa.
But since this book is Kruger specific, I think it would be more useful to show where it is to be found in the area covered?
