Lovely light on the heron and the giraffe.

The giraffe is very cute as a baby, but as an adult bull it will develop that kind of ugly head =O:

Life has sort of returned to normal here on Grietjie, after the fire last weekend. The smell of smoke still lingers around and the odd log is still smouldering. I'll start today by posting a few more images taken last Sunday of the fire.
