And your first ever leopard pics! ^Q^ O/\ X#X X#X X#X
No Richwit, did you not see my Leopard mating pics in December??? 0*\

Good stuff indeed. O:V

So you can stop in the road and walk into the bush a bit for a closer view...how do the properties work? :-? --00--
No, the propeties all start at the roads and connect directly on each other. There is one area that is "no mans land" where the picnic spots are, apart from that all land is privately owned.

To make it easier for you to understand, here is a map of Grietjie. I live on number 9 which is just over 11 Ha.

RP, most stands are developed, but consider an average stand being 20 Ha, with one or two houses on it in the central area of the stand. The area doesn't look developed from the roads and the development footprint is tiny in comparison to the undeveloped area. People also limit the developed area on their property, as rates and taxes are calculated according to the area of each properties development footprint. This less you disturb the natural area, the less you pay. This is due to the area being a conservation area. \O

The plus point about this national lock down, is that I am forced to be in the bush for 3 weeks. X#X

It would be great if you could entertain all the home-locked with some bush reports. It's very insane to follow all the bad news, let's have instead some more forum activity O0
