RP's Small trip to Rietvlei

H. arrived with an empty stomach and headed straight for the coffe shop for food...took him more than an hour!

Wow. We drove passed Rietvlei last Sunday and missed out all the fun.

It's hidden amongst the residential developments there, leachy...


Also met norms and a mate at the gate...him on his way out! Told me of a bearded or moustached tern or something at such and such a hide...bit blank as it was my first time there...

A great guy, though!

Saw lots of animals, including rhino, a few thousand ostrich, and most plains game!

I accompanied stf to see some buffalo...which are apparently not often seen, but they were gone when we got there...

He has some nice pics of a Jurassic Park experience!
