I have had the pleasure of meeting up with some doggies 3 times.
Once, 2009, just above Letaba.
Last year on the Orpen, Skukuza tar.
Last year just under the Renosterkoppies.

Have been fortunate with the doggies of late. In December 2012 on the Phabeni road - 19 of them at about 17h15. Saw them two days later sleeping all over on the same road. O/\ Also four or five sleeping in the grass on the S4 - also in December 2012. Now in March - Monday morning 4 March two of them on Skukuza to Lower Sabie highway. Caught an impala and a landrover joined us with the writing of Defender of the wild dogs on it. We drove off and he put on BBM that they mated after their breakfast. On Wednesday 6 March on the S25 a group of about six sleeping in the grass. On Friday 8 March another two between Lower Sabie and Skukuza - one on the side of the road and the other right in the middle. Don't know if they were the same two we saw first time round on the 4th March. Before that - dogs on the road between Pretoriuskop and Skukuza - couple of times. August 2012 a pack of 8 in the Timbavati where we had them to ourselves for the whole day sleeping at the dam O/\
