Nice visitor
I wonder if they sleep outside seeing the mosquito net Not a bad idea, if you don't have aircon

TWO MINUTES WITH A LIONESS IN EAGLE STREET!
Yesterday afternoon, we heard the warning snort of impala in our garden. At first we thought it was the usual mating calls but it was very intense and very different.
I looked in the direction that the impala was looking and wow!!! A lioness and 3 cubs were right at the edge of our garden watching the impala. With great excitement my husband grabbed the camera and started to take some pictures from the patio.
Unfortunately the lioness spotted him and made a very quick exit with the cubs in tow. We only got 1 picture but it certainly was a 6 year dream come true ... lions in our garden!
The feeling I had was absolute exhilaration, excitement and awe.
In spite of all the excitement I would like to warn everyone that reads this: Be aware, a lioness with cubs is extremely dangerous! She will protect her cubs at all costs. If you spot her, please contact the Municipal Rangers stand-by number 082 802 5894 immediately. For her and our safety she needs to be located and re-located back to the Kruger.
Pity we can’t keep her!
