Report Rhino Poaching Related Crimes

Post by Jason »

Good day all, just joined your forum, and need some help with an sensitive issue.

Can someone please point me in the right direction in where to report an non-profit organization, receiving funds locally and abroad, to fund and equip a counter poaching unit, where not a single sent go's towards the cause?
These people also do fund raising and sell different items in order to raise funds for the so-called counter poaching unit.

These people need to be stopped ASAP.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
Jason

Hi Jason,

South Africans and members of the international community are encouraged to report incidents of poaching and tip-offs to the anonymous tip-off lines 0800 205 005, 08600 10111 or Crime-Line on 32211.

Hi Duke,
Thanks for the info, just to confirm, I do not want to report actual poaching, but an organization that receive funds to pay and equip a anti-poaching unit that does not exist, or did exist, but the unit never received a single sent from these proceedings. This organization still receive daily funding, although the money is used for totally different reasons.

Regards
Jason

Yes, I understand that and that would be a crime, therefore the crime line.

Welcome, Jason - and thanks for your concern and taking action against that organisation!

I'll split yours and Duke's post from here soon and make it a new thread because I think there is valuable information that is interesting for everyone
and should be available quickly for everyone. \O

Hello, Jason! As Mel says, we can split this to another topic. We also have media and other contacts, so best PM this?

Legally, it is dodgy naming alleged perpetrators publically here, so PM is the way to go! \O

Hi Jason,

thanks for joining our cause, meagre as may seem!!!

You seem to believe that you have a problem,? please
take into account The "Buffet donation" and the cherry
on top, the "Dutch state lottery donation",..all in dubious
coffers of all evil!!!!

Do you have a problem??,......

Thank you for all the support and information so far. Today i will be phoning the crime line as given by Juke, and i am also thinking strongly about opening a fraud case at the SAPS. I think Carte Blance would also be interested in the story. This is a separate incident as the SANPARKS issue in yesterday Sunday Times.

I will keep this forum p[posted on the happenings.

Regards
Jason
