At Maverick Safaris our passion for hunting has shaped our philosophy and desire to expose more people to this exciting sport. Our commitment to encourage sustainable hunting practices is portrayed in our consistent desire to create and attract positive awareness to the appreciation and conservation of the diverse fauna and flora in Southern Africa.

Maverick Safaris offers pre-packaged as well as bespoke hunting adventures across Southern Africa, with footprints in three pristine regions of South Africa itself: the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, and Free State. Each of these regions offer distinctly different hunting experiences in which the best memories are made. We are also registered with PHASA (Professional Hunters Association of South Africa) and SCI (Safari Club International). Aside from our packages being competitive, affordable and accessible, they are also combined with outstanding service from a group of dedicated, dynamic individuals. Our team members each hold many years of experience as professional hunters, hunting outfitters, and safari guides amongst them. At Maverick Safaris we indulge our guests with the most comfortable facilities, breath-taking expeditions, and service that always puts them first. Whether you’re an international visitor or local guest, we manage the finest details so you can arrive, unwind and focus solely on the enjoyment of each day.
We look forward to giving you the hunting experience of a lifetime.

SANParks tried to ensure that rhinos didn't go for hunting from square one, but looks like they have given up as the rhino get resold anyway! 0:

It would not be very coherent to sell rhinos for hunting and at the same time fight poaching 0-

SANParks is also busy with the Wildlife Economy Programme which supports the development of hunting business in the communities.

So hunting and SANParks become more and more associated.
