Re: Cats of the Kgalagadi
Now, unfortunately you will notice that I have a bit of a disability. I take almost all my pictures with a 500mm lens. On a crop-frame camera. Often with a teleconverter attached... In short, when the animals get closer, my photos contain just bits of animal.
A last couple of the coalition (I hope it is, otherwise I am definately going to have egg on my face here).
I will post some more photos of the other cheetahs we saw, but for anybody who is interested (or impatient), you can read a trip report here:

I suspect there are the same cheetahs. They were seen a few days earlier, in the same vicinity, but there were only three that time.

I'll have them all. Any. As much as you have to offer.Peter Connan wrote:Mel, thanks for the heads-up. Lots of stuff on this forum for me to discover yet!
I am not sure which cheetahs you mean, I will start with the co-alition of four.
Thanks so much for posting more photos. That will keep me busy for a looong time!
BTW, I reckon the three cheetahs are not the same bunch as the four. The first looks way older than the coalition of four.
But will have to check first before being sure.

Don't get your hopes up, nan. They are not Botham, Sobers et. al. Too young, but most importantly - spots don't match.nan wrote: it seems I know these, but I have to search
