When An Elephant Feels Threatened

Post by RogerFraser »

Feeling threatened, the elephant rammed into a vehicle—and snapped one of its tusks in the process.

WATCH: Wading Elephant Charges And Rocks Safari Boat In Botswana

phpBB [video]

Elephant sightings are prized in the wild, but this latest Kruger sighting in Botswana is quite the close encounter.

Su-An Marais shared with Latestsightings.com how her most recent safari experience more than rocked her boat.

Marais and her fellow safari-goers got lucky on a boat trek across the Chobe river in Botswana, when they spotted an elephant bathing.

However, the boat had gotten a little too close for the ellie's comfort.

The elephant swiftly took charge of his frustrations by swimming toward the boat at a fast pace.

It gave it a knock about with its tusks until the boat retreated a far enough distance away.

The same error once again! Why do they have to go so close  Everybody laughing, but if the boat had been turned over, I am sure that they would be less happy

Elephants join couple chilling in SA beside a pool in Kruger – WATCH
The elephants went about quenching their thirsts without paying much attention to their human company

A couple lying on loungers beside a pool at a private lodge in the Kruger National Park did not dare to move when three elephants suddenly joined them at the pool.

But the giant beasts were intent on quenching their thirsts and didn’t pay much attention to their human company.

The incident was filmed by another couple who were about to sunbathe on the deck, when the elephants emerged.
