Yes, they do. Except for the Puff Adder, it is odourless.

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

A kudu in the KTP by Mel:
Prompt replies by Dr Bengis and Dr Joubert:
The fact that all four hooves are affected rules out the possibility of traumatic injury to the coronary band growth point of the hoof , and points to a systemic cause such as a toxicosis.
Similar hoof abnormalities have been reported in cattle with so-called stywesiekte, caused by chronic low grade poisoning from ingestion of Crotalaria spartioides or Crotalaria burkeana.
Laminitis is an inflammation of the coronary band (growth point) of the hoof and may result in hoof deformities. Usually it just affects one hoof, but if the cause is systemic, as in Crotalaria poisoning, it affects all four hooves.

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
Re: Interesting or Unusual Behaviour
I had posted a pic of this condition in "What Is It?", not knowing it was unusual (pgs 343 - 348), and someone finally figured out it was liminitis. The extra info here is much appreciated.
