Yes the fresh remains of the Gemsbok was 10 metres to the left of the Pic just ff the road

One of my all time favorite Kruger lions was the ex Skybed no 2 Male in that pride ..always a thrill to hear him roaring far off from Maroela /or Tamboti at night while braaiing and the following morning leaving camp as the only car at Gate Opening and drive towards the H7 and turn left towards Satara and have him commanding the road striding towards Orpen 1 km away ..Surely my favorite area of Central Kruger
