A swimming Lion. It wanted to pull a dead Giraffe out of the water but the carcass was too heavy and the water too deep. So he swam back to land. Once on the bank, it looks back, seeming to regret what he thought would have been an easy meal...

The sun was rising at the same time. You will never guess where it was ^0^

Nothing beats being really up close with a Kalahari lion ..Using my left hand to steer ..and to cradle the lens across my left arm elbow area and use my right hand to fire the shots through my always open passenger side window ..this big bruiser and I went on like this for kms until he broke away and took a short cut to the windmill..He NEEDS a click

No, no, no. It was at a waterhole in Etosha (Chudob, near Namutoni camp). I could not believe it was so deep. It looks like a river in the pictures.
