The sparrow is a Tree Sparrow. \O As well as the brown cap, check out the white cheeks with black markings on them as well.

Beware if you see one where you live now Lis, with a brown cap, as there is a hybrid of House and Spanish Sparrow that is sometimes called the "Italian" Sparrow. \O
