We leave Mariepskop and are on our way back to the Taita Site. There are a number of places on the R36 and R531 that you can stop for lunch and we decide on the Blue Cottages as it looks appealing with a nice garden and maybe some good bird sightings. As we walk towards the restaurant we see Lesser Masked Weavers and Paradise Flycatchers (PFC) :-)

We order and I then take a walk hoping to get a good shot of the PFC. I find a couple O/\ O\/ O/\

Not satisfied with these shots I follow the female around, the male having flown away already.

I follow it around and I cannot believe my eyes :shock: O/\ O\/ I call Sharifa and we forget about our order for a while. Some pictures just stay with you when you see them, forever etched in your memory. Such a picture is from a bird book by Rael and Helene Loon called "Birds The Inside Story"................
