The Bennets Woodpecker is for me the most beautiful of all Woodpeckers in Kruger. Sadly it is the hardest to find . This Male Bennets Woodpecker was not concerned with my slow approach to photograph him at eyelevel with a 70-200 lens on the tree outside our campsite position in Shingwedzi camp (Click to get the Red crown beautifully lit by the sun
