Could be Puff Addy, but I didn't think that Chat Flycatcher had the rufous & black tail pattern like this bird did and this bird did not look big enough ( i.e. it was smaller than a Marico).

Interestingly, I've just found a couple of pics on the web that look identical to my bird, labelled Chat Flycatcher. :-?

My impression was that this was a smaller bird than a Marico at the time, which rules Chat Flycatcher out, but did I get the size wrong??? :-?

I'll do some more reading on this one.
