Bullfrogs (Pyxicephalus adspersus) - BDI Citizen Scientist Hour #36 - Ryan Tippett

Ryan talks about the bullfrog, the largest amphibian in southern Africa.
Males reach a mass of 1.4 kg. They live underground, even inhabiting dry parts of the Northern Cape. When there is a downpour they all emerge and congregate at pools. They are explosive breeders!!
Hear this talk to learn more about this fascinating species!
