seems to be the same
In fact, I went twice, the first time we were only 1 or 2 cars, so I can choose the angle (but a very small one)
and when I return... was so many cars... I didn't stay
I went the day after, still one Lionness visible, the rest of the group was maybe behind
Oh no, I didn't notice the Kudu

Great choice FC, can,t wait for input's as I know you have a few good one's about this gem of a road. Talking about names ,we call this road the" Leopard road" for very good reasons. Just have to get to the pic's.

Some sightings from April 2013.
While watching these kingfishers we got talking to some guys next to us...they had just seen a leopard cross the road 5 minutes before we got there!!

Great sightings everybody
I think now it's time to report about one of my best sightings I had on this road. It happened on a warm afternoon in May 2011 and it was this of the day when you don't expect too much. I also wasn't very concentrated and only in the very last moment I noticed that one of the many Yellow-billed Hornbills that were hanging around looked a bit unusual. I had to drive a bit bckwards and then I realized that the bird had just caught a mouse and was trying to swallow it! It was a tough job for the small bird and it took him a while but finally, afte turning the prey around several times, he managed it. What a wonderful and special sighting
Here are some of the pics I took of tis brave bird

Re: Flavour of the Month: February 2014 S65 Waterhole Road
On Friday there was a cheetah on the t junction of the s65 and H1-1 , a male baboon came running from behind the cheetah. The cheetah ran 'wheelspinning' for it's life in front of my bakkie on the waterhole road. It all happened too fast for photos. But I have reputable witnesses who were on board !
