That is a weir/dam, not the bridge, but those powerlines come from Satara to Olifants, and that is the pumpstation? --00--

The nice thing about the road north of the bridge is that since the Phalaborwa/Mopanie tar road was built, there is far less traffic! In the old days Phala entrants would have to go to Letaba and then go North...no other gate but Punda! Giriyondo Border Post traffic has been added, but that is small! \O

Also, the waterpoints at Twisappel, (a pan), Malopenyana and Middelvlei are still operating...or were last year, and provide good sightings in dry months; have seen cheetah and tsessebe, for example!

Rare antelope are a definite possibility!
