Floods Reveal Scandals in Kruger NP Staff Villages

Post by Richprins »

During the excellent work done by various agencies in evacuating both tourists and staff from various camps or compounds during the recent floods in Kruger National Park, some shocking discoveries were made.

Illegal tenants inhabiting certain staff accommodations, including Mozambiquan nationals.

Rhino horn and related poaching equipment.

Other forms of contraband.

Kruger has refused to comment on the matter, stating that as rhino poaching is involved, all queries will be handled by the Department of Environmental Affairs.

Police queried gave the same answer.

My question is this: Why should the presence of illegal aliens in a Parastatal housing complex have to be addressed by the DEA?

This is exactly what I suspected! 0*\

The reaction from SP and others, also expected!! O** It's like having an affair and getting caught on the job,...you still deny it!

Lets have some proof on this matter, are the press aware of what is/was found? :-?

I may not say, Sprocks, but more than one! The same old story, everyone is too terrified to talk.

Skukuza seems to be the main culprit....but the interesting thing is there are "two" staff villages at Skukuza!

Best that way, unless you have 'first hand' info, not from some unscrupulous informant. ;-)

I would not be at all surprised!
I did it, in those distant years
gone by, so why not now!!???

On our second last trip gone by,
when the rangers strike was in
full swing, "we do it 'cause were
under paid", "those poachers so..
......"

Heh,.. H.e
