The hyena wandered off and the zebra started to settle. But then to our surprise up on the hillside, out wandered a special one
It had been a good 3 years or so since we last saw one in the park so we were thrilled.
But WAIT A MOMENT!!!... Out popped this bundle of fun
This was by far the smallest little BR tyke we've seen. It fairly quickly decided it wanted to lead the way and went bounding past mom
But on approaching some zebra the little one decided to hang behind mom
Just a couple of minutes of viewing time and then they disappeared over the hillside.

Awesome sighting!
The little one obviously hasn't read the rules that BR babies walk behind mum!

Yeah this one didn't know the rules. Animals think they can do anything since lockdown
Yes there are a lot... literally hundreds more than fifteen years back when we would be lucky to find them

Re: Addo 2020
Our day was already made as we continued round the rest of Ngulube and up to the Addo Heights road. A young pale chanting goshawk was enjoying the warmth of the slow-rising sun
I was really keen to try and find the lions so we explored Arizona and the Firebase sections of the Addo Heights road. There were more herds of zebra around, and down by the Firebase there was a shy jackal as well as a magnificent looking kudu bull
With no sign of the lions we took the main road north through Wayne's Valley where this young chap in musth walked right by us
