Like they do... 0*\

They are also present in the KTP... I only saw one once and know that there aren't many other people either who saw one...

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

It was turning into a very hot day so after a lazy lunch we continued on our drive up towards Carols Rest. There were a few zebra drinking in a line at the waterhole ^Q^

Image

I think many of the animals had retreated into thicker bush to escape the heat, but when we got back to the lions Zwaai at least had his head up catching some sun O:V

Image

It didn't last for long, and he soon flopped down. Not even an elephant wandering nearby disturbed them :O^

Image

Seeing as they were so sleepy we decided to head south and out the park - in retrospect it was a bad choice as apparently a short while later the lions killed a buffalo 0*\ 0*\
I guess you can't win them all lol

Our last few sightings of the day included a glossy starling, baby piggy and an impressive kudu bull \O

Yes they are scarce here - these are a different species to the nile monitors that are seen much more regularly in places like Kruger

Ok, but we see the rock ones a lot too? Not as much, now that you mention it, as martial eagles specialise in them! :-?

In that case it's probably a combination of the dense bush and maybe not so many of them around in Addo...
