So many questions raised by this released info : if that was the speed they were approaching a gate with security checks and searches how fast were they going before getting to the Gate .I don't remember allot of sand on the road at the gate think its all tar c=and paving around the gates .
Maybe Sanparks should put up a few speed humps when approaching the gate

It makes sense that they wanted to exit because one needs to cross the bridge and go through the first gate before getting to the proper gate and i can not think you can do that kind of speed there
