1/ ALERT: KNP ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO RAINFALL 19 / 01 / 20 AS AT 08:00: @ 03:38 Sable dam hide is flooded once again. Guests managed to get out of the hide safe, but their vehicles are flooded. Phalaborwa Rangers on their way to assist. @SANParks

2/ Guests are safe, field rangers busy assisting them to try and get vehicles out.
8am: Sable dam guests safe at Phalaborwa gate. Two vehicles will have to be towed out. Still at the hide. Thank you to Phalaborwa rangers!

I can imagine it is flooded again. After the rain last night the Olifants is flowing in all it's fury and there is more rain to come. Some places recorded over 100mm last night. <drip>
