A number of us on the committee have received the mail below, please comment
Dear Valued Stakeholder

TENDER APPLICATION: CLEANING OF LOOK OUT POINTS IN KRUGER NATIONAL PARK REF R1753/15-6

Your request dated 27 March 2016 refers.

Please be advised that there is no tender process currently underway regarding the maintenance of look out points in Kruger National Park. Such process will be advertized as per relevant PPP protocols should this opportunity present itself.

Thank you for your interest.

O-/ O/
If opportunity presents itself
I think, it's time that we hint to the fact that removal of litter is a legal obligation

Environment Conservation Act 19A
PART IV
CONTROL OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION (ss 19-20)
[a73y1989s19]19 Prohibition of littering
(1) No person shall discard, dump or leave any litter on any land or water
surface, street, road or site in or on any place to which the public has access, except in
a container or at a place which has been specially indicated, provided or set apart for
such purpose.
(2) Every person or authority in control of or responsible for the maintenance
of any place to which the public has access shall at all times ensure that containers or
places are provided which will normally be adequate and suitable for the discarding of
litter by the public.
[a73y1989s19A]19A Removal of litter
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 19 (2) every person or authority in
control of or responsible for the maintenance of any place to which the public has
access, shall within a reasonable time after any litter has been discarded, dumped or
left behind at such place (with the inclusion of any pavement adjacent to, or land
situated between, such a place and a street, road or site used by the public to get
access to such place) remove such litter or cause it to be removed.
[S. 19A inserted by s. 8 of Act 79 of 1992.]

Any thoughts on this?
