:ty:

In desperation I had the bright idea of going to see if the elephant had maybe made some water at the dam, and lo and behold....waterhole action at last! lol

The elephant makes a very deep hole sometimes, and especially the baby warthogs would disappear! Only to reappear! :-0

Then off home for lunch! O/\

But not to be! 0*\

The locals had blocked the gate from outside as they were not standing for the silliness of full quotas for the day....free entrance is free entrance! :X:

q1.jpg

The trapped tourists waited for a while, and when antipoaching arrived I ducked back to Crocobridge as these guys have a very determined look about them, to put it mildly, and clearly had better things to do on a Saturday lunchtime... O-/

The lady at the camp gate asked for my permit and was a bit nonplussed when I said I had already gone out and failed... :-0

But what can one do? So brave Richprins made a plan and bought some tea and went to sit on the lawn and watched the gate for signs of progress from a safe distance!

Very pleasant indeed! X#X

q3.jpg

It was quite absorbing and a bit cartoonish, as every now and again a vehicle would scream across the low-level bridge looking purposeful, and then scream back again. A bicycle even formed part of the action!

Triing triing!

RP: "Leachy, I'm going to be late for lunch, as we are being held hostage here at Croc! Don't be afraid!"

le: "What lunsh?"

DW: "You ish not allowed tea!"

:-?

Anyway, spot the aminal! ..0..

q4.jpg

Eventually it seemed that normal traffic had resumed, as the locals had won the day and taxis came streaming in across the bridge. So after hiding my laptop and camera in the spare-wheel area just in case I departed at speed, my 4th trip through the gate for the day!! :-0

After an uneventful trip back to Marloth I was rather surprised to find a shocking array of empty beer bottles etc strewn around there, and water spurting all over the place. It seems leachy had taken his supervisory role of Dwarf extremely seriously, including libational support.

But we had a nice lunsh and went home the next morning!

END OF THIS SEGMENT

You cannot leave those youngsters alone for a few hours and see what happens.............It would have been even worse if you had not left them =O:
