"Only mad dogs, Englishmen and I go out in the midday sun"
and I only do it when there is Load-shedding ;-)

General game
IMG_5342.JPG
A very young wildebeest. It grows even uglier with age, but being so young he can be forgiven and then, it is not his fault lol
IMG_5343.JPG
IMG_5344.JPG
Mixed grassers
IMG_5346.JPG
A very not at all interesting brown snake-eagle
IMG_5353.JPG
Elephant on the rocks close to the Paul Kruger gate. Most likely the fence of the Burchell's Bush Lodge in the background -O-
IMG_5356.JPG
IMG_5358.JPG
A zebra foal, if someone cannot recognise it O**
IMG_5359.JPG
Another case of not being quick enough 0*\ The nyalas crossed the road very quickly and I did not even see the bull, but luckily the little one :-)

Maybe the male was last and I might have seen him if I had waited long enough...or does he cross first :-? I'll never know :O^
IMG_5360 Nyala.JPG
IMG_5361 Nyala.JPG
An elephant at my own private waterhole........ which all the OSVs know about O**
IMG_5363.JPG
IMG_5364.JPG
A couple of giraffes. Anything goes when you have to fill up lol
IMG_5365.JPG
Also a yellow-billed hornbill ;-)
IMG_5367.JPG
The next day will be better

Finally a nice day even without cats, like all the others less one lol

A few birds to begin with

Unknown raptor! The white feathers :-? me. If it were not for those it would be an African Hawk-eagle as proposed by Klippie. If the white "feathers" instead are the legs, then it is a hawk-eagle ;-)
IMG_5373.JPG
European bee-eaters are irresistible even if there are lots. I love the colours
IMG_5377.JPG
A noisy red-crested korhaan
IMG_5381.JPG
A dark-capped bulbul, which refused to show the head :O^
IMG_5388.JPG
What's so funny?
IMG_5390.JPG
IMG_5391.JPG
Breakfast at Wimpy's at Pretoriuskop. Or Wimpy's or nothing O** lol
IMG_5393.JPG
MrsZorro - also called red-backed shrike ;-)

A saddle-billed stork arrived. Normally you see them in pairs, but this one obviously had sworn to remain single, wise girl
IMG_5409.JPG
Also a Fish-eagle joined the lively party O/\
