We are back
I never will understand how fast 16 nights in the park will be over after you have waited that loooooong. Never seen the park that green and lush indeed we only know same that way but this year everything looked indeed even far greener with dams out of which a couple I have never seen that full For sure we again experienced torrential rain on 2 days which leaded again into some road closures…...we even were not sure whether we will reach Biyamiti but in the end everything went well and the other days were again sunny and bright and hot besides the very last hours in the park where we drove the Mahonie loop when the rain set in again and also our drive outside the park on the R524 was more than adventurous with all the flooded water on the road….
We had quieter days (but for sure we enjoyed every minute in the park) and then a couple of incredible days (our first full day, our last full day in Satara not to forget again our last full day and even our very last hours in the park) but for us every day in the park is incredible. Despite the dense bush and rain we cannot complain about the sightings we had with again a dream sighting came true , we experienced our best cheetah sighting ever and indeed still found a couple of lifers.....
We took again an incredible number of pictures which still need a bit attention so please allow me a couple of days before I can start this travel tale

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

Sounds like a pretty good trip! And quiet days belong to a trip just as well as the busy ones.
Looking forward to see more of those action loaded days. You got me curious
