Always obey the rules of the road. First look right...

My mom and Shirley.

This was the one and only trip that SO made to Kruger (apart from 1 day trip), many moons ago before we were even married. My gran also came on this trip and she must have been in her eighties. She had some wonderful sightings...lions under every tree, leopards in every tree, even angels on horseback!! O**

SO and my dad.

Babes in the wood.

Another cutie!

A hooded vulture.

Right...

...then left! ;-) -O

And that’s the end of my dad’s pics! Thanks for joining me on my trip down memory lane! \O

Mel, my gran wasn't a cat magnet, she just imagined all those sightings!! -O Mr Flutts would be probably be quite upset if he knew those pics were here...he is paranoid about social networks, forums etc!

Heksie, we had fantastic lion sightings way back when, but not many leopard sightings! \O That kiekie (I like that word) of the bottles was taken in the 60s in Empangeni (my birthplace ;-) )...my dad and his friends were keeping a tally! O** ;-)

Obviously SO did not like it that much, if he never went back ;-) Now that he is grown up, does he still have a "pony tail" -O

No, Lis, no pony tail...more like a lion's mane!! O** -O I don't understand him...he can stare at a fishing rod all day waiting for a bite but he gets bored in the bush!! :O^ Once he's seen an animal he doesn't need to see another one! -O 0-
