Although the S65 was quiet again as already during the whole trip this year we had a great time in riding along same and came across a vulture in a tree with a close by sitting tawny eagle,

Image

another elephant bull,

Image

hyenas were around as well as very often in that area

Image

and to our delight we spotted again a klipspringer.

Image

More hyenas appeared too

Image

with some private time between youngster and mom.

Image

Gladly also the duiker waited until we could take a picture before same dashed away.

Image

A herd of buffaloes then could be seen as well when we were already back on the tar road into the direction of Skukuza.

Needless to say that we had to wait until we could continue our drive as the whole herd was crossing the road.

We stopped a final time for a short break at Skukuza as also our car needed some refill before we headed forward to Satara. Today we decided to drive via the high water bridge and so we still could enjoy the views into the Sabie from the many many loops where we spotted a beautiful fish eagle,

Image

and a couple of marabou storks.

Image

Another awesome stop was then for a group of vervet monkeys out of which the youngsters were simply too cute for words

Image

and same had great fun between each other.

Image

"High five!"

Image

Then we stood already on the high water bridge and simply had to capture the view to the left

Image

and finally also to the right as it will take another one long year until we will stand on that bridge again.

Image

Somewhere on our way we also met an extreme muddy rhino.

Image

to be continued....
