I met up with Penga Ndlovu today for lunch at Letaba. Here are some of the shots on the way there...

Just because you liked the previous porker, here's another one...

Next up was a "double Klippies on the rocks"...

And then the crazy bird...

Image

He then took the time to pose for a photo...

We had quite an interesting encounter in the park today. We got in between two Ellie breeding herds at Sable dam. The one herd was chasing the other herd away from the dam and we ended up in the middle. This was not a problem, but then one young mother from the retreating herd decided that we were not supposed to be there. As she crossed the road and noticed us, she turned an gave a mock charge. The charge was enough to get my daughter in the foetal position on the back seat screaming like a pig in a slaughter house.

Please excuse the photo quality, they were taken through the windscreen in a rush during the pig slaughter.

Well today I just had to get into the park to get my mind off yesterdays shocking rugby result. O/

The LO went with again, but asked please to keep away from the Ellies. -O

I agreed and so today I had to concentrate on the smaller creatures...

First up a little Pearl-spotted Owlet

It is good to see quite a few Crocs in Sable Dam
