Sat 22nd June contd

As we sat watching the lioness by the water, more and more lion suddenly started appearing O\/ O\/

We realised that it must be the entire Vurhami pride moving in. We were really thrilled with our lucky timing O/\ O/\

Image

There were lion moving all over the place, so it was difficult to work out how many there were, but the kids were sure there were at least 15

Some were coming up from the water, whilst others came down to meet them or just parked off in the shade O:V

Many of the lion were still quite young, but this lioness looked to be the adult-in-charge ;-)

Image

The meanderings continued for a while between shade and water...

Eventually the gang seemed to settle into a couple of shady spots and we figured that they would all be asleep pretty quickly

Here's a video of some of the activity X#X

No traffic on the H4-1 at a giraffe kill  I may be wrong, but I think this giraffe hit by a car/delivery vehicle because at 1st there were no predators on it. ..0.. How did it smell, maybe that cleared the traffic jam O**

Great male lion sighting on the H4-2 O:V

A relaxing early morning at Marloth, I would have been pacing around O** , but still a good lion sighting at Gezantombi/Vurhami bridge dirt loop X#X

Wow, and then the rest of the lions pulled in. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ Lucky timing that :-0
