The jackal was beginning no show no mercy...he kept at it and as a result there was a lot dust being kicked up.

and this time he was successful ...:) But as you can see I didn't really get an award winning shot as there were too many doves obscuring my view. =O: =O:

Oh well so be it ..it was time to move on to Grootkolk.

This would sound a bit funny if it were not on a wildlife forum: Not only was it the 1 Jan 2019 but it also happened to be our wedding anniversary. We woke up to a lion roaring - the first bit roaring we had heard on our trip.
