Despite the rain and miserable conditions this elephant sighting will always be one of our most memorable experiences in #pilanesberg.

We would now like to build up a database of elephants in the Pilanesberg National Park. Any pics or info will be greatly appreciated. If the elephant is a named elephant, please add the name, otherwise we will attempt to get an identification. Please post the date and place where your picture was taken.

A very good and creative idea. Im now trying to assimilate parts of your work in a global database of elephants at www.elephant.se. The Pilanesberg elephants starts to be included under https://www.elephant.se/location2.php?l ... 971&show=1. Any ideas and corrections how to cite the valuable records here, are greatly welcomed. Meanwhile I cite them as source for each relevant page on this forum.
