on the way out of the park we saw the last lifer cape robin-chat (23)
Although we were rather late already, we stopped briefly to have another look at table mountain
We arrived back in Cape Town at 4:30 pm and were stuck in a real traffic jam. When we phoned the guest house in Fish Hoek, they told us that they cannot wait for us and that the security guard will let us in after 6 pm. Now this would have been a problem as we had to be in Tokai at 7 pm. Fortunately the traffic jam was terminated shortly after and there was still someone to let us in when we arrived at the guest house. Thus, we even managed to take a shower and got to Tokai in time.

Kirstenbosch
I woke up at 5:30 am when the first train passed our guest house and decided to get up. Although it was rather chilly, I spent some time on the veranda watching the birds. When my SO finally got up as well, we left towards Kirstenbosch. We parked at the upper entrance gate and went to the tearoom to have breakfast. Thus it was almost noon when we started our walk in the garden of extinction.
This time I thought that I could provide names to the plants as I took pictures of the name tags but it looks like I missed some and I am not sure that the tag goes with the plant in the picture all the time.
