Up The Hill at Marakele

Re: Up The Hill at Marakele
We didn't bother to go out the following morning and slouched around in the camp instead.
The first thing I found was an adult Antlion near the kitchen.
One of my favourites - a Crimsonbreasted Shrike.
Visitors to the waterhole that is visible from the camp.
Then I heard a familar bird call - but the bird that makes it has always eluded us. Not this time though, another lifer; Yellowfronted Tinker Barbet .
White-browed Sparrowweavers.

The Antlion is a strange creature
Beautiful birds especially the white-browed sparrow-weaver
The waterhole looks green and lovely with it's visitors

Antlions are very odd things! They are easily confused with damselflies.Lisbeth wrote:The Antlion is a strange creature
