Now that I had to catch up on quite a bit here, I'll not attempt to write anything that makes sense, but rather just drop down random thoughts. :o0ps:

Why can't the skink fly when it is a Wahlberg's?
(Okay, that's a silly comment, but was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your ID.)

And, yes, I would have done some punching too lol My favourite photo of the camp is the walkway with the bent tree ^Q^

Those egrets on the papyrus against the dark, rain threatening sky - marvellous O\/

Looking at all that water - how are things with Malaria?

Long dinner tables are nice for people travelling solo, but personally I don't like them at all.

Loved the race O\/

The panoramas are beauuutiful :-0 And few pix later - also the clouds mirroring in the water \O

So, Vincent didn't talk all the time and you were able to enjoy the bush or rather water bush silence?

Interesting, how the egret seem to like the papyrus -O-

The thick-billed weaver looks funny when he got his head down lol

Umpteenth sunsets don't matter - always pretty O\/

And - are you married again already? 0()

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Married? He did not have enough cows

Vincent did not talk very much, he was the thoughtful kind of person ;-) Though, he did speak out when there was something to see

The minimum lobola to be paid is 10 cows. The bride’s family then determines what the value of 1 cow would be, and multiplies it by 10. For instance, if the standard rate for a cow is R7000, and the family determined that the bride is worth 12 cows, the lobola would be R84 000.

I presume that they count cows, but pay with money O**

Do they seriously still use that habit? and if they have a daughter not very "popular" do the parents pay a few cows to get her married? O** lol
