Mpila Camp Day 4: Continue
As we got closer to the lioness we noticed another one and two adorable cubs. At first they were curious to see us, but shortly move off to the safety of the long grass waiting for mum to follow. As Murphy Law's want it they walked pass our car, cross the road and off in the direction of the wild dogs. We could not find them again and left with some good memory that will make us come back again.

Re: BJ's TT from Beach to Bush - Imfolozi GR
Last day at Mpila
The rest of the day we were spoilt with a few more cat sighting, but some too far and others very short.
Food for thought. Now were are those cats.
Mr Short tail sitting at the look-out staring towards the Imfolozi river
Send out a SMS - dinner is ready
Some action from the fastest land mammal having a day off. Must be all those lions around here.
I don't see anything. Must be dreaming
It's an elie down at the river. Too big.
Told you there are lions around here. See this guy is off to the picnic site. Maybe there is something to eat.
What a day, Time to rest a bit.
Look mum I lost my stripes. Go to the camp and get your pajamas.
Hi mum look whose watching us. That is a funning horn that guy has.
Keep on moving. Don't bother us.
WHATSUP!!!!
A place and animals to remember for a long time. Hope we see you soon.

Re: BJ's TT from Beach to Bush - Imfolozi GR
Hi Flutterby, Mel, BC, Pumba, nan, BB and Magic Guarri,
We were very surprise to find any domesticated animals in a park with no camp fences and frequent sightings of Wild dog in that area as well as hyaenas. Luckily we saw a lot of real wild animals and were not put off too much by the donkey, that we first could not ID from as distance away. Usually fluffy yellow hair means lion, but the shape was more lama and confused us a lot until we got closer to this strange inhabitant of Imfolozi.
Magic Guarri,
Sadly our TT came to an end, but I am sure there will be some future post from trips to KZN.
