Well well!
Good news!
Reply from "Roodewal Camp Manager" today:
Dear Richard
Your Web Feedback dated 20 June 2012 regarding your experience at Roodewal refers. Thank you for taking time to write us such constructive and valuable feedback. It is much appreciated as it assists us in addressing the mentioned issues and enables us to improve on our service standards.
I would firstly like to place on record my sincerest apology for the disappointment and inconvenience endured due to all the problems you noticed during your stay in Roodewal, as this is not the kind of experience we want our guests to have about the camp as well as the park.
I’ll engage with the Maintenance Manager regarding all maintenance related issues to be given an urgent attention and as for the stove, we made a new order and I’ll engage with procurement to expedite the process of delivery..
Once again, accept our humbly apology, and hoping that this will not spoil the good relationship between you and the Park in general and Satara in particular.
Regards,
She also telephoned me to thank me for the pics and explain how the issues would be addressed in detail!

So much for their "official" channel. Well done to the camp manager, this is all the public want to hear and then see results, maybe a follow up email or phone call as to the progress of the repairs. If this happens and the entire SANParks follow this example it will restore their loss of respect by the general public.
Mr Mabasa, please take note of how it should be done!

I am cynical! I still want the confirmation from an objective visitor, that what has been promised, has been done. I have seen too many e-mails sustaining one thing while facts were quite different.
