The sun made an appearance in the afternoon.

At Balule, the scorpion torch proved its value when it lit up this Transvaal Thick-tailed Scorpion before I trod on it!

Toad and scorpion are just great O/\ O/\ O/\ Brave boy you are getting close for a photo lol

And this young giraffe follows you, you see it everywhere ^Q^

The more the giraffe turns it head, the thinner the neck gets. Looks funny lol

I don't have an iphone, Bulltuner...but the word on the street is you guys with the big cameras will be overtaken by cellphones! ^0^


Good not to step on that parabuthus...had a bad experience with one near Balule, ironically, hence I remember the name! :shock:

I still need to get pictures of the aerobatic performance that follows!

I was ready to run away if the scorpion had moved in my direction - some things do scare me; mostly things that can do me some harm!

I've no doubt that cellphone cameras will continue improve but I think it will be many years before cellphone cameras get anywhere near the image quality of a DSLR because they will also improve. The quality and size of the lens and sensor play a large part in the clarity of the image.

As I said above, I was ready to run away if it looked threatening!

I agree, not such interesting pics in that bit but some people liked them ^0^
