Here's another pic, Alf, from existing stock.
As announced, we can see the dramatic moment of head-lifting AND ear-bodylining SIMULTANEOUSLY!
This throws all discussions of left and right-handed elephant behaviour out of the water, so to speak! Groundbreaking stuff!

Hmmm? After reviewing your text and photo for a couple of seconds, I think that your theory may be slightly off.
I see that you took the photo at an apeture of F-All, with a shutter delay of a swig of beer. This means that your camera may have done a double exposure and simultaneously captured two photos in one, thus mirroring the image.
What I can say from this photo with some degree of confidence, is that the behaviour of this idividual shows that he may, in fact, be drinking.

Agreed, Deli!
I also think it is drinking!
Am cautious of exposure in Kruger, as there is a law against protrusion? Same thing?
Members' thoughts?

Rare sequence I've just uncovered, Deli and Alf!
One can see the inexorable "Dance of Death" between the two bulls, so to speak!
