Re: Outings around Lausanne, Switzerland
right, lot of chance, especially this Saturday
not easy to go early because of the fog... but when the sun rises
the Duck (no name Duck... escaped one) give me lot of work... always have to have an eye on "she" (I name it "la canne") to see what she found
the web.... well the web, nice work, but
and the Goshawk only few minutes, but enough
all

normely it's Egret that fight... it seems the Heron was in bad mood and the Egret is much biggerMel wrote:WOW, nan! Your pond provided well for you again
Those herons are vicious Not nice to dip the other one down the water
That goshawk sighting is marvellous And also the common snipe and the duck with the crayfish
I also like that mystic spider web photo. So autumn like
Gets me itching to work the camera again...

you gave me chance, 2 nights agoDewi wrote:Eish, stunning pics yet again Nan.
Goshawks are notoriously shy. Excellent pics you got of this one.
Great action sequences of the heron & egret.
More please.
was a lot of small ducks, Little Grebes, Coots, Moohrens, Rails... all of them flew away in a noise
and it stays only the time to watch if there is still something to catch
the Egret came again, not the Heron
happily the Snipe was already gonePumbaa wrote:WoW, nan,

and the Goshawk was really greedy for one of these little birds
ducks sometime chicken, sometime porc... like all of usRichprins wrote:Glorious stuff, nana!

Western Great Egret, elegance
Common Snipe
Northern Goshawk in the mist
Western Great Egret, tired
we wait for the return of the Goshawk... with this little Snipe... but nothing

Re: Outings around Lausanne, Switzerland
thank you Flutts and Liz
I saw one or twice this Sparrowhawk... far away... flying
first, when it landed on the tree, for 2 seconds I thought it's a Pigeon, was so small
when I pressed on the button, I heard lot of wings noise, on my right side
