The only thing you can see on the head are very large eyes on pale background (in a skaapsteker you would not be able to see the eyes from a distance because the dark stripe runs through the eyes) and a yellow throat which makes it a Western Stripe-bellied Sand Snake, Western Yellow-bellied Sand Snake.
Show me a skaapsteker with that kind of stripe pattern
