Re: Spotted Hyena
It's a bone. I have a long sequence of pics and they are quite funny. I am going to try to make a kind of video, if I can

Re: Spotted Hyena
Epic National Geographic article:
Hyenas have a bad rap—but they’re Africa’s most successful predator
Centuries of storytelling paint the four species of hyena as laughing, demonic scavengers. It’s time to set the record straight.

CAPTURING THE INCREDIBLE MOMENT OF A HYENA GIVING BIRTH
by
Katie Adams & wildlife photographer Samuel Cox
Friday, 28 June 2019
There have been many viewpoints written about the spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta), from both sides of the story. They have been painted with broad brushstrokes as the villainous, thieving scavengers of the African bush on one hand and on the other, highly intelligent, cohesive and beautiful animals. Yet, in a world of pure survival, where the weak falls and the strong flourish, there are none better suited than that of the hyena.
