Cute klippies
A wild dog sighting is always something to cherish And I don't mind the handsome lion either

A nice trip, Flutts!
Handsome lion indeed, and good pics!
Love the vervet.
What a big leadwood tree there at the doggies!
The verandah is lovely at Satara, is the lawn there still alive?

It's so nice to hear you and the Brat got to enjoy this trip after all the shenanigans of 2020/21! Your pics are great (I can relate to the vision problem ), and you had some really special sightings already! So happy for you two

Re: A Blissful Flutter with the Brat
Thanks, Lis.
I always look out for klippies...very cute.
Thanks, Pumbaa.
That leadwood was the only big tree in the area so useful for shade. The lawn was still alive at Satara but brown as it was still winter.
Hey Ex, thanks for popping in. It's always special to spend time in Kruger with my boy.

Re: A Blissful Flutter with the Brat
For our afternoon drive we headed back to the wild dogs on the H6.
Most of the adults were sleeping, but now the pups were out of the den and they were very active. There were three pups and they were the smallest we'd ever seen. They were very cute. We stayed with them until gate closing time.

Back at camp, we had a visitor at the fence.
For dinner, the Brat made a delicious tomato basil pasta. But I still made a fire for fun .
