Unplanned KTP adventure

Post by harrys »

I planned to go to Bookworm in Upington on 14 May to help her pack and move to Nylstroom, Limpopo, but as the time dragged it's feet to pass, I got a brain huricane to to go earlier and booked 12 May at Twee Rivieren and 1 night at Molopo Kalahari accomodation(wich changed to 2 nights at Twee Rivieren when I got the 13th too. So I left on the 11 of May and we went to KTP at 4:00 on 12 May. It was still very dark and we travelled at 90km/h for safety, had some close calls with suicidal Hares and a Kudu  .

We arrived at Twee Rivieren at 7:25, did the paper work and went to set up camp wich took about 20 minutes as some very helpfull and friendly campers helped us setup the tent, so at around 8:30 we hit the dusty gravel road to Mata Mata, after we deflated the tyres to 1.6bar as per instructions O** \O

My first pic of our trip O**

That's the message we got the whole trip O**

You must have been dead tired after all that driving

Probably because you had deflated the tyres ;-)
