Another creature that we saw few of was, believe it or not, black-backed jackals. We did however come across four young jackals early morning cavorting in the Nossob riverbed between Leeudril and Rooiputs. They certainly kept us entertained. We watched them playing for about 15mins...and 364 photos later we moved on. They really were having a ball playing with a sod of grass but then one of them found a feather and a tug of war began. It's amazing how young animals can find toys in the veld to play with. Here are a few of the 365 photos..... O**

and the "very few" you show are marvelous O/\
I love BBJ too, so interesting to follow... in all cases there is always something, big or tiny interesting in the Kgalagadi \O
